Elective Courses

​The following courses are available for your clinical electives at the National Taiwan University Hospital. The total term of your clinical electives ranges from 2 weeks to months. The length of time for each course in the respective department could be adjusted to clinicians' need.

In the application form, please list the desired course(s) and also the alternatives in case your choice(s) is (are) not available during your elective term. You may also indicate certain elective courses or subspecialties of your particular interest, which are not listed above; we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please be noticed that once you have been accepted for electives and want to change your dates or courses of rotation, an official letter from your hospital to change your electives dates will be needed.

 

Credits, Certificate, Evaluation and Final Report

Credits for the clinical electives taken by foreign clinicians are not available from our hospital or medical school. However, a certificate will be given to the clinician upon completion of the clinical electives, and a candid evaluation of the clinician’s performance assessed by each supervisor will be sent to the corresponding affairs of your medical school.

Within two weeks after completion of the elective term, the clinician must submit a final report for the overall elective program and give feedack on individual courses. Please email the report to Ms. Hui-Ling Chen at  113613@ntuh.gov.tw
