Clinicians must apply for a VISITOR Visa in their country of residence BOFORE coming to Taiwan. If they come to Taiwan without a VISITOR Visa, they will be required to enter Taiwan with a Landing Visa (落地簽證), which is only valid for fourteen days and is not extendable. They are then required to leave Taiwan once the two weeks expired. (This regulation also applies to holders of Hong Kong passports)
