  • Morning Meetings: Ward case discussions and book/journal readings are held from Mondays to Fridays, 8:00~9:00AM.
  • Nursing and Medical Staff Conferences: Discuss physician-nurse teamwork care at the inpatient ward and Home Care events. Held monthly, 12:00~1:00PM.
  • Physician-pharmacy Meetings: Clinical pharmacists attend our morning meetings to discuss inpatient medication use and provide up-to-date drug information.
  • Family Medicine Department Meetings: Seminars about Core contents in Family Medicine, Resident training courses, current updates in Family Practice, and special topics are held weekly on Fridays, 5:00~6:00PM.
  • Evaluation and Management of Bio-psychological Stress Conference Meetings: Our physicians and clinical psychologists discuss the psychological assessment and management of clinical cases bimonthly on Fridays, 1:00~2:00PM.
  • Family Medicine Outpatient Clinic Video Teaching: Supervising attending physicians will evaluate video-recorded clinic sessions of our residents with their patients, focusing on communication skills, physical examination techniques, clinical diagnoses, and medical knowledge.
  • Medical Intern conferences: Interns (sixth-year medical students) present case discussions based on outpatient clinic cases and provide feedback on their training at our department monthly on Fridays, 12:00~1:00PM.
  • Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment Case Conference: A team conference discussing one current geriatric ward case, weekly on Tuesdays, 8:00~9:00AM.
  • Medical Ethics Meeting: Book readings and case discussions on medical ethics, monthly on Wednesdays, 7:40~8:40AM.
  • Outpatient clinic training: Residents can discuss and evaluate their patients with a supervising attending doctor during both morning and afternoon outpatient clinics.
  • Palliative and hospice Video Case Conferences: Live, webcam case conferences with other Palliative ward units across Taiwan (Taipei Veterans Hospital, National Cheng Kung University Hospital, Tzu-Chi Hospital, Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital, China Medical University Hospital, Chun Shan Medical University Hospital, Mackay Memorial Hospital, etc.) are held biweekly on Thursdays, 7:30~8:30AM.
  • Home care Case Conferences: Residents, attending physicians, home care nurses, nutritionists, and social workers discuss and evaluate home care cases. Held biweekly on Wednesdays, 12:00~1:00PM, at the palliative and hospice ward.
  • Continuing Education Seminars: Since March 6th, 1986, special seminars have been held every Tuesday from 5:00~6:00PM in the NTUH Jin Fu Building. Attending physicians from all specialties in NTUH will deliver a one-hour workshop for general practitioners for their continuing education throughout the year.
  • Other conferences: Travel Medicine Book Readings, Research conferences, geriatric book readings, etc.
