NTUH Medical Visualization Center (NTUH MedVis) was established in 2024 with the mission of providing high-quality medical visualization services to the NTU healthcare system and becoming a leading training hub for medical visualization in Asia. The center is dedicated to advancing this interdisciplinary field, which combines art and science, to a higher professional standard while ensuring its knowledge and techniques are passed on and further developed across the region.
At its core, the center aims to serve the NTU healthcare system by delivering precise and professional visualization support in areas such as medical education, clinical communication, and research presentation.
Currently, the center is led by Dr. Yu-Hsuan Chang, who graduated from the renowned Johns Hopkins Department of Art as Applied to Medicine. The establishment of NTUH Medical Visualization Center marks a new era. The center is poised to become a driving force and leader in the field.
