Introduction

For more than a century, the National Taiwan University Hospital has not only ranked first in the medical industry in Taiwan, but also set a number of clinical firsts in the world or Asia, and is well-known internationally. In order to improve the quality of international medical care, National Taiwan University Hospital is constantly striving for excellence. After passing the JCI (Joint Commission International) international hospital evaluation in 2010, the world's most advanced robotic arm surgery assistance system was introduced at the end of 2011; the first is to develop comprehensive robotic arm surgery. For the purpose, including the professional training of 7 sub-specialists and nurses; as of December 31 of the same year, National Taiwan University Hospital has performed a total of 285 operations in 7 departments, and the number of operations installed in the first year ranks first in Taiwan; Since its establishment, more than 4,200 operations have been completed. In order to perform a huge amount of robotic surgery and ensure patient safety, systematic training and organization of robotic surgery teams is one of the necessary plans; the future team will be the first robot in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. For the purpose of the surgical training center, it shoulders the three missions of teaching, research and service to establish a model in the medical field.
