Cerebrovascular diseases

Neuro-Oncology

Neuro-Oncology team consists of neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, neuropathologists, neuropsychiatrist and specialist of intensive care, neuro monitoring. Experts of different fields work together to provide prompt accurate diagnosis, optimal treatment of the brain and spinal tumor.

For each year 450 new cases of craniotomy and 240 cases of CyberKnife  radiosurgery are treated in our department. Patients receive preoperative interventional neuroradiological treatment, neuropsychological evaluation, awake surgery, skull base surgery, intra-operative monitoring, postoperative intensive care, chemotherapy, molecular neuropathologic diagnosis, and radiotherapy.

Child Mental Health Center We provided services targeting emotional and behavioral problems of children and adolescents. Our services are composed of clinical diagnosis, counseling, psychotherapy (including play therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy), medication, neuropsychiatric assessment, family intervention, consultation and referral of social resources.
Pain Research The first pain clinic in the Taipei area in 1969. 1986, the first laser acupuncture used in pain clinic. 1992 implementation of the hospital patient-controlled pain treatment more to further expand on the treatment of patients about postoperative pain, chronic pain and cancer pain.
