PET Whole body scan:
1.Fasting for at least 4 hours. Only allow to drink water.
2.Registration. Receive a hospital gown.
3.Change into the hospital gown. Lockers are available to store the changed clothes.
4.Enter the injection room. Receive an injection of radioactive agent in a vein.
5.Stay in the room and lie down about 45 minutes. Wait for the radioactive agent to distribute in whole body.
6.Enter the scan room. Perform PET/CT scan of whole body. Please go to restroom before the scan.
7.When it is necessary, perform delay image scan according to the assigned time.
8.Return to the clinic for test results after 3 working days.
PET Brain scan:
1.Fasting for at least 4 hours. Only allow to drink water.
2.Registration. Receive a hospital gown.
3.Change into the hospital gown. Lockers are available to store the changed clothes.
4.Enter the injection room. Receive an injection of radioactive agent in a vein.
5.Stay in the room and lie down about 30 minutes. Wait for the radioactive agent to distribute in brain.
6.Enter the scan room. Perform PET/CT scan of brain.
7.Return to the clinic for test results after 3 working days.
PET Heart scan:
1.Fasting for at least 4 hours. Only allow to drink water.
2.Registration 1 hour before scheduling time.
3.Check blood sugar. Follower by oral glucose or inject insulin.
4.Change into the hospital gown. Lockers are available to store the changed clothes.
5.Enter the injection room. Receive an injection of radioactive agent in a vein.
6.Stay in the room and lie down about 60 minutes. Wait for the radioactive agent to distribute in heart.
7.Enter the scan room. Perform PET/CT scan of heart.
8.Return to the clinic for test results after 3 working days.
