Vascular Duplex Lab

Vascular Duplex
The vascular duplex is a non-invasive examination that utilizes ultrasound to examine peripheral vascular quality and size and detect stenosis, ectasia, or obstruction. It can also detect venous thrombosis, varicose, or reflux. The vascular duplex also examines the patency of dialysis AV fistula and aneurysm.
Pulse volume recording is also a non-invasive examination. It uses the instrument to check the degree of changes in the volume of the limbs with the blood flow. It can measure the blood pressure of the limbs synchronously and provide the ankle-brachial index, arterial wave velocity, and venous return flow to assess vascular diseases, providing physician reference.
