The exercise ECG test is a test gradually increasing the exercise load while simultaneously monitoring the ECG to detect signs of myocardial ischemia for the diagnosis of coronary artery disease and angina. It also can be used to evaluate the exercise capacity and to promote specific kind of arrhythmias.
