Aim
1. To cultivate outstanding clinical dentist to possess adequate knowledge and skill in order to take place in the leadership in the pedodontic aspect in Taiwan, as a result, contributing the medical quality of Taiwan.
2. To strengthen the training standard of pedodontic specialists, and as the same time, enhance the specialized ability of the training dentist.
Training Course
1. Clinical aspect
Each trainee should participate the clinical practice at least 6 half days per week, under the guidance of the visiting staffs. All of the training dentists should reach the minimum requirements of treatment with complete data collection of each patient after the confirmation or cosignature by the visiting staff. Certification of pedodontic specialist training would only be given to those who complete the requirements stated above.
The quality of the treatment and service is maintained under the supervision of the visiting staff during the training.

Academic Course
In order to enhance the quality of specialist training, the course is designed based on the reference of World’s top dental colleges, which included the basic science knowledge of the clinical pedodontology.
Moreover, the pedodontic department of National Taiwan University Hospital is now one of the qualified training centers of Taiwan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
