Restroative and Esthetic Dentistry

Introduction

The main objective of operative dentistry is to restore carious teeth or other malformed teeth using appropriate materials.  In small-to-moderate carious lesions, using methods of operative dentistry to restore teeth can help patients to preserve tooth structures and improve esthetics at the same time, therefore, operative dentistry is a more conservative treatment option.

Our department combines operative dentistry with esthetic dentistry, therefore, other conditions concerning esthetics can also be managed by methods of operative dentistry under appropriate assessment, such as: teeth broken down by caries, malformed teeth, discoloration or spaces between teeth (diastema).

In addition, our department has other services such as teeth whitening, ceramic inlays and onlays, and ceramic veneer. With the appropriate assessment, patient can regain white, natural tooth color and a confident smile.
