The "OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH LAW" has been applied to the medical and health care service industries since 2014. This Law is enacted for the purpose of preventing occupational accidents and protecting occupational safety and health. For these purposes, the team for occupational safety and health, formerly the office of occupational safety and health, was established in NTUH since Jan. 1993. According to the specification of the competent authority of the central government, the department of occupational safety and health establish occupational safety and health staffs, including manager of occupational safety and health affairs, occupational safety professional, and industrial hygiene  professional.

The Office of Occupational Safety and Health works on preventing the occupation hazard and incidence. To complete this mission, all employees, the head at every level of its administration, persons in charge of management, and everyone in this hospital should obey the laws and rules related.
