​Handbook for Investigators Conducting Research Involving Human Participants​


National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) has established a Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) since October 2011 to ensure that all research involving human participants are conducted by NTUH investigators with high ethical and legal standards and rights and welfare of research participants are protected. This handbook is aimed to provide investigators with international and institutional requirements of ethical conduct of research involving human participants. In this handbook, "Preparation" address general principles applying to the conduct of human research involving participants, and "Apply for the Research Ethics Committee Review", "Contract Review", "Conduct of Research", "Closure/Suspension/Termination/Withdrawal" highlight some key points in conducting some special types of research.
