The Health Resources Center(HRC) was founded in 2003 under financial sponsor from Mr. Jian-Zhong Chen.  In appreciation of the excellent medical service provided by National Taiwan University Hospital(NTUH), Mr. Chen donated 5 million Taiwan Dollars to help establish the hardware of the Center and NTUH staffed it to get started.

Nowadays the Center serves as a very important service point for health consultation in the National Taiwan University Hospital.
