Bei-Hu Branch

The NTUH Bei-Hu Branch was the former "Maternity and Child Health Center of Taiwan Provincial Junior College of Nursing" which was founded in 1949 and served the locals for over 60 years. As the school underwent institutional changes on numerous occasions, its name also changed accordingly and was formally merged into the NTUH healthcare system in 2004. The Branch's major goal is to establish an "Integrated Geriatric Medicine and Long-term Care Center". Its vision is to provide high-quality health care services to the people in the community.

Besides the reputable nursing home and home care nursing businesses, the Bei-Hu Branch has also actively worked with government departments in planning a long-term care system and developing health care services for the aged in various community institutions. The Bei-Hu Branch offers high quality medical services to the people of the community, encompassing outpatient clinics of various specialties of the NTUH healthcare system, rehabilitation, dialysis therapy, and other services.

We are also diligently planning to set up a comprehensive assessment and integrated outpatient consultations for multiple chronic diseases in the elderly, making it the first of its kind in medical care for the aged. The inpatient ward, on the other hand, focuses on holistic care that is centered on elderly patients and their families. The Bei-Hu Branch intends to establish an aging medical care model for the aged that is centered on the individual case, treats the family as a unit in community-based care, and emphasizes "aging locally".
