NTU Cancer Center

NTUCC became a branch of the NTUH in its Chinese nomenclature (the English name NTUCC remains unchanged) on June 1, 2021. The center is located in Daan District of Taipei City and houses 500 beds, of which all NHI beds are in twin rooms. Currently, the center employs 700 full-time staff and focuses on developing teaching, research, and patient care in cancer medicine. It brings in the world’s newest cancer treatments, and has a multi-specialty treating team to provide citizens with the highest quality of care and service.

NTUCC provides patients with all rounded care. Apart from a combined lung cancer clinic, and a women’s health center among other specialty teams, the center has opened joint clinics for internal medicine, surgery, rehabilitation, and ophthalmology, with subspecialty support from the NTUH system. The center is in the process of commencing the use of cutting-edge proton therapy and photon beam radiation therapy. Looking ahead, the center aims to continue providing world-first cancer treatment through its integrated treating teams on the core values of providing “patient-centered” and “research-oriented” care. NTUCC strives to become Asia’s world-class cancer center, and Taiwan’s most trusted smart center.
