Team Introduction
National Taiwan University Children's Hospital has always been committed to providing the best health care for children, and has long been dedicated to clinical medical work for children's diseases. To provide minimally invasive endoscopic surgery with smaller invasion and higher safety for children who require surgical treatment, the hospital has established an integrated and multidisciplinary endoscopic minimally invasive surgery medical team.
The team combines pediatric surgeons, pediatric anesthesiologists, pediatric intensive care units, and nurse practitioner to provide comprehensive preoperative examinations and assessments for children who need surgical treatment. The team then performs precise and minimally invasive endoscopic surgery, followed by complete postoperative care, to achieve the best treatment results.
All members of the team hope to reduce the suffering of these children who endure pain through minimally invasive surgical treatment and shorten the time needed for postoperative recovery. In the future, the team will continue to develop new surgical methods, break through the limits of children accepting endoscopy, and achieve synchronization with first-class pediatric medical care in Europe, America, and Japan. The team is committed to becoming the leading pediatric endoscopic minimally invasive surgery medical team in Asia.
