Education and Training

National Taiwan University Children's Hospital is committed to upholding the distinguished traditions of the National Taiwan University College of Medicine and National Taiwan University Hospital by maintaining academic excellence and social responsibility. Our mission is to cultivate exceptional talent, conduct innovative research, provide exceptional and compassionate medical care, and serve as a model for pediatric medicine providers, educators, and researchers.

Our teaching approach focuses on not only providing medical knowledge and clinical skills training in pediatric care to students but also instilling a compassionate and ethical medical attitude towards children. We aim to strengthen training in general pediatric medicine and pediatric subspecialty training after graduation and actively engage in promoting model pediatric care. We are responsible for developing medical treatment curricula for other departments of the College of Medicine and the School of Dentistry, in addition to the medical curriculum for medical students. We are dedicated to cultivating talent for medical students, resident physicians, and subspecialty medical professionals.

National Taiwan University Children's Hospital is a crucial training institution for pediatric subspecialty doctors in Taiwan, and many doctors apply for training every year. Each subspecialty department is a key contributor to this effort, ensuring that we provide the best possible training to prepare future pediatric subspecialists.
