Medical training and interactions with international medical schools and institutions:
Our hospital accepts medicine-related students and staff from international schools and institutions for training interactions. These interactive training programs not only can improve mutual understanding, but also can help raise the standards of medical treatment of other countries, which is the main duty and mission of a national medical center such as NTUH.
Research and official visits to international medical institutions:
Paying close attention to the trend of international medical development, every year, our hospital sends excellent physicians and medical staff members to study abroad, learning the latest medical skills and knowledge in every field to offer better services to our people. Furthermore, in order to keep abreast of the latest development in medical information, medical care quality, and hospital management, etc., our hospital annually selects key personnel from major tasks for official overseas visits, with a view to keeping track of the latest trend and knowledge of the world, on which new policies and plans can be based.
Advanced studies and research abroad:
In 2023, 31staff members were sent abroad working on study and research projects, 15 of them were to the U.S.A., and the others to Canada, Japan, Germany, France, Singapore, Korea, Australia, Swiss, and UK.
Official visits abroad:
In 2023, there were 9 official overseas visits made to target the focal points of various development plans. 2 of the visits were to the Singapore, 2 of the visits were to the U.S.A., and the others to Japan, Korea, Swiss, Hungary and China, with 48 delegates involved overall.
