- Continuing Education
- General In-Service Education:
Throughout the hospital, nursing in-service education is provided which includes pre-job education for new nursing staff, weekly seminars in nursing education, various subspecialty nursing seminars, adult/children intensive care and emergency nursing training programs. Various advanced nursing training programs are provided such as: quality management, nursing administration and management, clinical nursing preceptor, rehabilitation nursing, oncology nursing, palliative care nursing, hemodialysis nursing, clinical nurse specialist, and organ transplant nursing, etc.
- Unit In-Service Education:
Supervisors, nursing managers and head nurses in each unit initiate the following activities: journal readings, clinical problem analysis and case reports, etc., to enhance the knowledge and to improve the skills and attitudes of nurses.
- In-Service Education Outside NTUH:
In response to the needs of the hospital to continually develop, we make recommendations and/or appoint nurses to participate in various training programs. Nurses also make professional visits both in Taiwan and abroad.

Student Nurse Practicum
For nursing practicum we accept student nurses from the National Taiwan University School of Nursing, Fu-Jen Catholic University, National Taipei Nursing College, and other schools of nursing for clinical nursing practice. Outcomes of nursing education and student nurse practicum are outstanding.
