Nursing Quality Management Team

The Nursing Quality Management Team adapts Total Quality Management (TQM) concepts approach to quality and process improvement. We practice quality and safety 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Adherence to quality and safety measures helps us build excellence into patient care, education and research.
 

The Nursing Quality Management Team encompasses a broad range of services and programs, including:

  1. Nursing and patient care services
  2. Education, practice, and quality
  3. Patient satisfaction of nursing data analysis and improvement
  4. Nursing quality improvement reports collection and examination
  5. Taiwan Clinical Performancer Indicator (TCPI) data collection and improvement
     

Nursing Quality Management Specialists
The Nursing Quality Management Specialist provides professional and advanced clinical knowledge of nursing quality through the management of nursing standards of care and professional practice and uses nursing quality in monitoring and decision making. The Nursing Quality Management Specialist serves as a resource and internal consultant to nursing staff in accreditation standards, patient safety and quality including the measurement, monitoring and reporting of performance improvement activities. Additionally, the scope of services includes monitoring of the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) and the Taiwan Joint Commission on Hospital Accreditation (TJCHA) regulatory elements through monitoring application of standards with clinical data extraction, data analysis, and education for clinical staffs.
