The Secretariat Office serves as a vital advisory and document management unit of the NTUH. Key milestones are as follows:
1945 (Since Taiwan Restoration)
- Secretariat Office was established as the oldest institute of NTUH.
- It assisted the Superintendent’s Office and served as the document control center, managing and keeping all official documents.
January 4, 1971
- The job title of the supervisor was changed from “Secretary” to “Director.”
- Secretariat Office consisted of Documentation Section and Human Resource Section, each managed by a leader.
December 20, 1971
- The Human Resource Section was separated and promoted to Personnel Office.
November 25, 1991
- Secretariat Office was relocated to the East Campus.
- The editing and launching tasks of “NTUH Bi-weekly News” were transferred to the Public Relations Office (the former name of Public Affairs Office).
May 1, 1996
- Due to the expansion of responsibilities, Secretariat Office was officially divided into three Sections, Each Section was headed by a section chief:
- Documentation Section
- Administration Section
- Medical Affairs Section
June 24, 2024
- The accreditation and certification tasks of the Medical Affairs Section were reassigned to the Center for Quality Management.
September 1, 2024
- Due to operational needs, the Integrated Affairs Section was newly established.
