Hospital Affairs Meeting

In order to sustain an overall efficient and smooth day-to-day operation in every aspect at NTUH, it’s essential to keep a good mutual understanding between the individual medical units fighting on the front and their logistic backups, the administrative offices.  That is why Article Eighth of the NTUH organization regulations clearly stipulates that the Hospital shall hold such a regular meeting.  Accordingly, the Superintendent shall preside the meeting, and individuals have to attend include the Vice Superintendents, Medical Secretary, supervisors of all first-level affiliations of the Hospital, representatives of the attending physicians, those of the resident physicians, and branch chiefs.  This meeting shall be held once a month in principle, and its duty is to deliberate all important policies of the Hospital.  There is a set of regulations governing how the meeting should be conducted, which was set up and amended at the 782nd Hospital Affairs Meeting held in 1999 and the 877th one in 2007, respectively.  This meeting is the current policy-making meeting of the highest level at NTUH.
