The Emergency Medicine Department focuses on the first-line treatment of emergency patients. It was officially established in 1993, pioneering emergency medicine in Taiwan. In addition to in-hospital emergency medical care, the department has expanded to the Taipei City "Pre-hospital Emergency Medical Rescue" program.
