Accurate diagnosis is the beginning of acute stroke treatment. Timely treatment is crucial, and besides thrombolytic drugs, endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) is the most important treatment for patients with acute cerebral vascular obstruction. NTUH completed its first acute stroke thrombectomy in 2014, and in recent years, it has grown into a mature and effective standard treatment.
