The Pediatric Neurology Division is responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and care for children with neurological discomfort and diseases. Common complaints include headache, development delay, movement disorders, weakness, seizure and epilepsy, ...etc.
We perform diagnostic procedures including brain sonography for structural anomaly, neck sonography for torticollis, and spine sonography for sacral dimple. Electrophysiological monitoring examinations including electroencephalography(EEG), nerve conduction velocity test(NCV), and electromyography(EMG), are done in our division for diagnosis and disease follow-up. Muscle biopsy is performed for suspected muscle diseases; joint conferences with the Pathology Department is arranged after the biopsies to confirm diagnosis.
Our division has close connections with pediatric neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, nuclear medicine specialists, social workers, and psychologists. Our goal is to provide the best care for children with neurological diseases.
