Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition​

Over the last decades, Division of Pediatric Hepatology, Gastroenterology and Nutrition had performed well in teaching, clinical services, and research. As the prevalence of hepatobiliary disease is high in Taiwan, and with the recent understanding of children's hepatobiliary diseases and the development of various treatment methods, all had made this field of medicine even more important. The team was awarded the National Taiwan University Research Excellence Team Award in 2008. The department director professor Chang Mei-Hwei was awarded the honor of Academician of the Academia Sinica, and Distinguished Achievement Award of AASLD in 2017.
