Guidelines for Visitors

 Observing the following guidelines for visitors will help provide a safe, convenient, and comfortable hospital environment that will enable the patients receive the excellent care they deserve.

  1. General ward visiting hours are 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. So patients can rest , please do not visit patients from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. Avoid visiting patients during the early afternoon hours to give them an opportunity to rest.
     
  2. Visiting hours in the Intensive Care Units (ICU):
    11:00 am to 12:00 pm
    2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
    7:30 pm to 8:30 pm

    Only 2 visitors at a time will be allowed to see the patient. In order to protect patients from infection, visitors will be required to wear a face mask and a special gown while in the ICU.
     
  3. We discourage anyone with any infectious disease (including cold like symptoms) and children under the age of 6 years old to visit patients in the hospital. However, if for some special reason it is judged necessary for them to do so, the visitor must follow the guidance of the nurse who will instruct them.
     
  4. Wash hands with soap and water (or use an alcohol based hand rub ) before and after visiting patients.
     
  5. Do not use a cellular phone at the patient's bedside because it may have an adverse effect on the medical equipment being used. However, if necessary, you could use it at a 3 meter distance from the patient. The safest way is to use your phone in the vistors' lounge.
     
  6. In order to maintain peace and quiet we ask that visitors please lower your voices, avoid wearing high-heeled shoes, make sure your cellular phone is on the vibrating mode only, and be sure the patients are not disturbed by the noise of children.
     
  7. While visiting, be mindful of your money and valuables at all times and do not leave them unattended.
     
  8. To avoid the spread of infection, do not bring flowers to the patients.
